THE COMPANY: Our client, established over 100 years ago, are a provider of specialist laboratory equipment and consumables. There are well known in the industry for their unique products and solutions and have a multi-million turnover. Their customers include all the large Blue-chip manufacturers such as Pfizer, J&J, Janssen etc. Due to continued growth and success, they are now looking for a Sales Engineer to join their team, selling their full product range.
THE ROLE: You will be selling their full range of lab equipment and consumables into the Medical/Pharmaceutical/Manufacturing sectors. You will interact with a variety of engineers, lab technicians, quality department, procurement etc. Territory is flexible for the right candidate. This role is a 50/50 split between Account Management and New Business. This is a high value low volume sale, so you must be able to nurture a somewhat long sales cycle and have a consultative sales approach
THE PERSON: To be considered for the role, you must fit the criteria below:
* Third level qualification is preferred, in a Science/Engineering-based discipline
* Laboratory Equipment/Consumables sales experience is desirable
* Experience selling into the blue-chip Pharmaceutical companies is a distinct advantage
* Salary: €45,000 - €60,000 DOE
* OTE: €10,000 - €40,000
* Mobile, Laptop, Pension, 21 days holidays
* Fully expensed company car
