THE COMPANY: Our client, a global capital equipment manufacturer, is now looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead and manager the food and beverage sales team. They have well-established relationships built with many of the large Food and Beverage companies here in Ireland and have a reputation for high-quality products and services.
The Role: You will manage a small team of Business Development Managers and be responsible for the sales strategy, budget setting, forecasting, targets and KPI's whilst driving the business through sales revenue and margin.
You will also be responsible for managing a small portfolio of pivotal clients throughout Ireland. You will drive revenue and profit within the food and beverage sector.
The product range is diverse. They have a number of high- end, premium quality process machinery which is sold into many industries, however, you will be focused on managing the food and beverage markets. You and your team will sell solutions to production managers, financial controllers, directors, buyers, and procurement.
The role is covering 32 Counties and ideally, you will be based in or around Dublin.
THE PERSON: You will ideally come from a capital equipment sales background, with experience selling high-value products with a long lead time. You will have a demonstrable track record of people managing and driving sales through a structured process.
You will be polished, process-driven and be comfortable selling a premium solution. Traits for the ideal candidate include being a strong sales leader who leads from the front, you will have a strong work ethic, and the ability to nurture a fairly slow-paced sales process.
