We are a leading supplier and manufacturer of food products in Ireland and we are currently recruiting for an experienced Van Sales Representative to service the South Leinster area. South Leinster (Kilkenny/Carlow/Tipp/Waterford/Wexford)
You will be responsible for maintaining not only the current customers but also to increase new customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
Ø Calling to existing clients and managing those relationships as well as new business development in the South East area.
Ø Responsible for an assigned territory journey plan and the entire customer base that falls within that territory journey plan.
Ø Identifying new leads/business opportunity within their territory
Ø Promoting all company products to both new and existing clients.
Ø To ensure that orders are delivered in a timely fashion thereby meeting customers’ requirements i.e. on time, in good condition and with good customer service.
Ø Ensure that each customer has the core range available at all times where applicable.
Ø Work with the Sales Manager to ensure distribution and sales targets are met on a weekly basis.
Ø Review, analyse and communicate product performance and slow lines.
Ø Effectively and efficiently plan territory in order to reach targets.
Ø Responsible for stock in vehicle.
Knowledge & Experience Required:
Ø Previous van sales experience is essential.
Ø Strong customer focus.
Ø Sales ability with track record in FMCG
Ø Able to build solid internal/external relationships
Ø Ambitious and motivated to achieve results/targets
Ø Excellent planning and organisation skills
Ø Good face to face negotiation/presentation skills
Ø Must hold a full clean driver’s license.
Ø Ideally be from the Kilkenny/Carlow area.
