The Company :
Our client is a fast-growing organisation with over two decades behind them and is currently seeking for a new Business Development Manager. They manufacture a range of food packaging, as well as catering consumables and hygiene products and sell into the food service, contract catering and corporate catering sectors.
Due to continual growth they are now looking for two new Business Development Managers, ideally based in Dublin and Limerick.
The Role – Business Development Manager
Ideally based in Dublin and Limerick, the successful Business Development Managers will be responsible for managing a significant portfolio of business within the foodservice, contract catering and corporate catering sectors. You will be dealing with head office buyers as well as managing directors and purchasing managers, negotiating contracts which at times will be well in excess of €1m per annum. The majority of this role will be focused on generating new business, however you will also be dealing with existing business and looking to grow revenue through that account base.
For this Business Development Manager role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
* Strong sales and account management experience is a must
* Experience within the following sectors will be advantageous: Hospitality / food service / contract catering / retail (wholesale / convenience)
* Strong commercial acumen and numerical skills are essential
* You must be a strong communicator and have great attention to detail
