General Hardware Supplies Ltd is a well-established DIY & Hardware Store in Newcastle West, Co Limerick. We sell construction materials and we are one of the largest importers of construction timber in the republic of Ireland.
As part of our expansion we require an Internal Sales & Marketing Person. This is a permanent long term career opportunity.
Sales Specification – 70% Sales
· Generate profitable leads and new business.
· Maintain a ledger of own clients
· Generate and follow leads to close of sale
· Develop and expand knowledge of the building and DIY trade industry
· Work to a weekly sales target
· Integrate within the sales team
· Become proficient on the POS system and with quotations
· Evaluate customers needs and provide solutions to problems
Marketing Specification – 30% Marketing
· Management of social media accounts (face book, twitter, linked in etc)
· Designing adverts for newspapers, articles, radio
· Design and release of company brochures and flyers
· Look after sponsorship and advertising
· Liaise with United Hardware marketing teams
· Be creative with new ideas
· Design and changes to online website
· Increase presence in Goggle.ie searches
· Work with store manager to drive foot fall into the store
Personal Requirements
· Professional Appearance and Manner- Clean shaven and well groomed. Uniform to be worn every day.
· Computer literate
· Good Organisational and Time Management Skills Necessary
· Capable of working on own initiative
· Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
