Our client researches and develops innovative, high quality solutions designed to make diagnostic testing more accurate. They are now on the lookout for a Senior Business Development Manager to join their team.

In this exciting and important position, you’ll have the chance to build on your existing leadership skills and play a key role in the success of our client’s global sales activities.
As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be tasked with increasing sales of our client’s toxicology solutions on an international scale. You’ll manage a global team of sales and business development staff to ensure that targets are achieved.
Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the team which is based in the UK and internationally, you’ll provide leadership and guidance to ensure that all potential sales opportunities are maximised.
Travelling internationally, you’ll conduct regular visits to customers in order to increase sales, identify new market opportunities and handle customer queries in a timely and efficient manner.
Additionally, you will build in-depth knowledge of our client’s products and the marketplace as a whole and attend conferences and trade shows as required.

- A proven track record in sales and team management
- The ability to build rapport and a sales team in a short timeframe
- The willingness to travel extensively on an international basis
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Biochemistry, Chemistry, Life Science or Business-related discipline
As a Senior Business Development Manager, you must have superb communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, as well as an excellent level of commercial awareness. Decisive and driven, you must also be able to manage your time effectively, work on your own initiative and be focused on enhancing the customer experience.
