Sales Engineer

Job Description
This role is responsible for pre-sales technical engagement with customers to include presentations/demonstrations, customization and solution design. Sales Engineers are key in supporting sales teams in our efforts to expand market share and drive revenue. We are specifically looking for a Sales Engineer to support Kaseya's AuthAnvil product, a complete identity and access management solution.
To be considered, the better candidate will be:
- Subject matter expert in IT management solutions
- Understands business needs for implementing an IT Management Solution in MSP, Enterprise and mid-size businesses
- Experienced providing solution demos & high volume of customized client demos
- Pre-sale solution design (including functional and technical aspects)
- Post-sale implementation best practice consulting
- Select post-sale account ownership opportunities
- Leadership role in driving solution enhancements
- Energetic team player with exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Highly professional, self-motivated individual that demonstrates high standards of ethical conduct
- Exceptional understanding of the IT services marketplace and fundamental selling and negotiation/closing skills
- Experience with CRM applications to successfully manage leads, opportunities and accounts.
- ITSM foundation certification desired which should complement a sound understanding of the MSP Service Delivery market space
Qualifications
- Strong experience with identity & access management and security solutions
- 3+ years’ experience in a customer facing technical role
- Enterprise software implementation and consulting experience
- Strong presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and leverage appropriately
- Demonstrated knowledge of network and desktop management solutions
- Demonstrated ability to strategically partner with sales & marketing team, maximizing revenue potential within an assigned territory
- Demonstrated personal commitment and interest in continued professional development
- College degree preferred
- Well spoken & understanding of English
- Other language skills as a preference
