We currently have a vacancy for a Sales Representative. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with relevant sales experience preferably in the construction industry. As Sales Representative you will be responsible for delivering professional, high-quality advice to your customer base to maximise the value and profitability of all sales. The role requires a dynamic, resilient, and flexible individual who possess the motivation to achieve our business results.
Reporting Manager: Jim Humphries, Sales Manager
Geographical Area: Dublin / Southeast
Responsibilities:
- Maximise selling opportunities, achieve sales and margin targets on a monthly basis
- Provide up to date technical advice on products to suit the customers requirements
- Effectively manage customer relations by providing high-quality and prompt support
- Maximise call rates through the utilisation of a daily, weekly and monthly call/pipeline reports
- Contact targeted accounts at a frequency relative to their buying pattern and potential sales
- Provide site testing and training as required
- Develop existing customer base and actively seek potential new business
- Provide customer presentations regarding products as required
- Ensure the product / brand is achieving its maximum potential within the current customer base
- Report on competitor activity, sales, and targets
- Liaise with the Accounts Department regarding payments and collections
- Liaise with the Sales Manager regarding price negotiations and discounts
- Highlight product / stock requirements with the procurement team
- Develop and forge a strong working relationship with all departments especially customer service
Key Attributes & Skills Required:
- Highly motivated with a passion for sales preferably in the construction industry
- Proven ability to achieve allocated targets and develop sales opportunities
- Strong Computer literacy: MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
- Customer focused approach with excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated individual with a willingness to succeed
- Ability to take ownership and resolve issues
- Navision skills desirable but not essential
- Full clean drivers licence essential
