The Branch Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the branch including providing high standards of customer service and delivering key performance indicators for the business including profitability, sales, margin, stock management, debtors, health & safety, and people management.

Branch Manager - Heating & Plumbing

* Working within the managerial team to establish branch monthly growth targets and develop Sales & Marketing objectives to deliver the required sales, margin, and profit performance for the Branch.
* Improve the performance of the Branch across several key performance measures, including but not limited to customer care, service excellence, attention to detail, stock management, warehousing, and employee performance
* Understand and be able to interrogate the branch P&L and monitor sales, margin and costs.
* Generate a culture of continuous improvement through staff performance-related coaching, mentoring, and leading by example
* Develop specific product initiatives and promotions to support marketing and drive footfall into the branch ultimately maximising branch sales and margin performance.
* Managing Branch Stock, ensuring that we have the right stock at the right time to service our customer base and maximise opportunities.

Requirements -Branch Manager (Heating & Plumbing)

* Ability to demonstrate a successful track record and show the achievement of financial objectives and targets.
* Ensuring that all policies, procedures, and controls are always followed
* Previous supervisory or management experience in a similar industry
* Proven track record in sales and achieving targets in the heating and plumbing industry.
* Ability to demonstrate a successful track record and show the achievement of financial objectives and targets.
* Solid understanding of Stock Control, Supply Chain, and Logistics
* Exceptional people management skills with the ability to demonstrate strong leadership and relationship-building
* Must be financially and commercially astute.
* Ability to juggle different demands and switch between them as appropriate.
