We at The Kilkenny Observer are currently recruiting an outgoing and enthusiastic sales driven Consultant to join our sales team.

As a Sales Consultant you will be responsible for our database of existing customers and establishing new potential accounts. You will be part of a friendly, experienced and dedicated team and you will be fully supported in understanding the role and how to achieve targets.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of existing clients

• Identify new customers in our target markets and deliver sales

• Maintain a high level of client service and client relationships ensuring a premium level of customer satisfaction.

• Adhere to sales business rules, practices and policies to sales territories

Requirements

• Friendly, confident and energetic

• Highly motivated and target driven with excellent communication skills

• 1-2 years previous experience in a sales environment is an advantage, but not essential

• Familiarity with and experience of using social media for business

• Knowledge of MS Office

• Excellent written and spoken English is essential

• Good team player
