This is a home-based position where you will be expected to travel to our office in Central Dublin at least once a month, with the option to work from the office more frequently, if you prefer. Viking is a leading provider of business solutions in the UK providing office supplies, managed print services (MPS), facilities management, furniture and print, so there's always an exciting opportunity to discuss with customers to offer the solutions which help their business, and generate profitable sales.
As our Inside Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for contacting a targeted set of customers, both new and existing, across multiple product categories. You will use your ability to spot sales opportunities to help us achieve our aim of being the sole supplier for our customers. Every customer is different and every call will be different, giving the opportunity to use your telesales skills with a broad customer base and an extensive product range.
Reporting to the Head of Sales (UK & Ireland), you will join regular team calls and training sessions with your colleagues in the Ashton office and your counterpart in Ireland. As this role is home-based, you will be expected to work autonomously and be self-motivated with a drive to succeed and meet your monthly financial and KPI targets, for which you'll be rewarded via the Company Sales Bonus Plan.
Our ideal Inside Sales Account Manager will also have the following skills and experience:
Previous experience and success in outbound sales and customer management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The drive and enthusiasm to succeed and meet monthly targets on a regular basis
As you may also be expected to meet with customers on occasion (through use of a hire car), you will need to hold a full driving license.
