[b]ROLE[/b]
To increase sales and customer awareness of the products provided by AB Scientific through customer visits, phone calls, exhibitions and local meetings. Provide both technical and sales assistance to customers within the territory.
[b]KEY RESPONSIBILITIES[/b]
• Establish excellent business relations with new and existing customers and so develop and increase sales revenue within the territory
• Actively prospect for new business
• Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact
• Offer exceptional front line customer support
• Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries
• Attend exhibitions and trade shows
• Prepare quotations, tenders and sales forecasts.
• Identify new product opportunities
• Record sales activities within the AB Scientific CRM system
• Attend key product & sales training courses
• Establish competitor and product knowledge
[b]PRODUCTS[/b]
AB Scientific supply a range of products for both hospital and pharmaceutical QC laboratories as well as pharmaceutical production areas. Products include diagnostic and control products across all areas of hospital Pathology and a comprehensive range of microbiology and contamination control products for the Pharmaceutical sector.
[b]THE CANDIDATE[/b]
AB Scientific are looking for a self-motivated, energetic person who will share the company’s passion for success. They will be committed to excellence, creative in their approach, and determined to achieve their personal and company goals. The candidate will be quick to learn and adaptive to different products and markets. The candidate will have some relevant sales experience in one or both of these sectors and/or be educated to degree level in a relevant scientific subject. The candidate will be based from their home and be expected to stay away from home as the role requires.
