Leading distribution company seeking Technical Sales Executive!
The Role – Technical Solutions Sales

Reporting to the Enterprise Sales Manager, this role will to drive business levels within a target set of partners.

The role will suit individuals who are technically savvy, commercially astute,attentive to detail and can thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Work closely with the partner community, account managers and team to drive lead generation and order placement, ensuring opportunities are successfully closed
* Keep a constant monitor on new programmes optimising pipeline opportunity and working towards increased margin growth
* Fulfilling brand management tasks on a daily basis such as maintaining optimum stock levels and price files and supporting reseller sales team queries etc.
* Manage the tender response / bid process creating any technical spec required
* Develop end user technical solutions to include configurations or servers, storage, maintenance and software
* Support and coordinate with the various Sales and Finance Departments as required
* Quickly gaining a detailed understanding of the partner and company service and product offerings will be essential
The Person

* An experienced technical sales professional with 3 years of technical configuration experience preferably in the IT Distribution / Reseller / IT Manufacturing sector with a proven track record in achieving sales targets
* Experience of dealing with end users and partners/channel is desirable
* System P knowledge would be a distinct advantage
* Ideally someone accredited, but if not, it will be compulsory to become accredited, so experience of sitting certification exams for an manufacturer would be advantageous
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to process high value orders in meticulous detail
* Ability to multi-task without losing focus
* Very strong communication skills particularly in relation to interfacing with current and prospective clients/vendors and other departments
* Results driven with high levels of drive and energy and the ability to work on own initiative
* Ability to balance working on your own and as part of a team in a pressurised environment to demanding objectives
* Proven ability to manage accounts and develop new business opportunities

* Ability to build relationships to support team members, share resources and knowledge and collaborate with others to achieve goals
* General computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
* Have the highest levels of integrity in the successful completion of your work
