Technical Sales Representative

[b][red]INTRODUCTION [/b][/red]

As part of our programmed expansion in Ireland, Cronus Technologies is recruiting a Technical Sales Representative.

[b][red]The candidate will be responsible for promoting our range of scientific or environmental monitoring instrumentation.[/b][/red] This position requires a degree level qualification and a good understanding of relevant product applications. Experienced in selling similar equipment you will also have excellent interpersonal skills, strong self-motivation and drive to succeed.

[b][red]SCOPE AND NATURE OF THE JOB[/b][/red]

The candidate will use his/her skill and experience to effectively sell products to the industrial and scientific communities, provide support for customers and engage in promotional activities. In consultation with the Operations Director the candidate will agree objectives and devise operational plans to meet them.

The candidate is expected to be a highly self-motivated and experienced sales person, must conduct themselves in a thoroughly professional manner and be able to demonstrate effective communication, both orally and in writing and to gain the respect of colleagues and customers at the highest levels.

He/she must maintain sound knowledge of the products, markets and applications and to use this expertise to maintain and develop business and ensure customer confidence.

[b][red]CANDIDATE PROFILE[/b][/red]

The candidate will possess a degree or higher qualification in one of the following areas:

a) Biological Science (preferably with a higher degree and research experience in Biological Sciences)

b) Electronics/Instrumentation/Environmental Sciences

Ideally, the candidate will have a detailed knowledge and experience of selling to:

a) Research/Industrial Laboratories

b) Consultants, Contractors, National and Public Bodies
