Sales Representative – Munster

ECI Lighting Ltd has formed part of the lighting landscape in Ireland since 1960. The company has long since established its position as a prominent player in the industry, and for decades has successfully represented many globally recognised lighting manufacturers, throughout Ireland and in both the Wholesale and Specification spheres. The company has an aggressive growth strategy in place for the next 5 years and recognises the substantial opportunities that exist in the construction supply market as the industry trends towards ever higher levels of construction activity.

The Role

 The company’s wholesale division has been very successful throughout the years selling some of the top brands of lighting in the market.  With the expansion of our own brand PRELUX and with the market recovering the wholesale team needs to expand to service our substantial customer base and to grow our market share. This is a full-time permanent role in field sales and the individual will spend 90% of their time on the road. The area is Munster so ideally the candidate is Cork based or close to our office in Cork.

Qualifications

Ideally the candidate will have sales experience externally or at minimum internal sales experience. A full clean driving license is essential. Have strong computer literacy be comfortable working with CRM systems and MS Office software.

Responsibilities

To contribute to the company’s growth strategy by servicing existing customers and growing the product portfolio from ECI lighting with each customer.

Push sales of our brands back through the Electrical Wholesaler by calling on their customers. These can range from Electrical contractors to end users and FM companies.

 Attend customer trade mornings to promote our ranges and occasionally national Trade shows.

You will work from the Cork office and report to the Area Manager ultimately answering to our Sales Director in head office. You will be expected to report weekly on sales activities and call cycles and you will attend monthly sales meetings in head office.
