Responsible for the new business and distribution management on your defined territory. The role will see the candidate travelling both domestically and internationally meaning the ability to network will be vital. The knowledge of product range will be essential to ensure you will be successful. To build business by identifying and selling prospects; maintaining relationships with clients.
Scope
To support with technical knowledge, training and marketing alongside developing a new business pipeline.
RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
· Liaison for Product Management and International Launch Management
· Define, develop and execute overall market strategy with regards to the whole marketing mix on the basis of the group strategy
· Measure and analyse efficiency, ROI and effectiveness of marketing activities and further development of marketing tools to reach focus sales channels and markets
· Manage product life-cycle with launches and phase outs
· Co-ordination of all international sales, marketing and training activities
· Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analysing sales options.
· Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
· Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
CONTROLS – REGULAR MEETINGS WITH:
Regular meetings with the Head of Sales
KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KEY COMPETENCIES
· Must have the ability to communicate with confidence and persuasively at all levels.
· Ideally a Business or Sales qualification/degree
· Ability to work without time constraints
· Professional reporting and presenting skills. Fully proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint), familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop and Illustrator a definite plus.
· Positive attitude with leadership skills is an absolute must for this role as is the ability to handle a dynamic, demanding environment and prioritise workload.
