Sales Person

Quintas have been engaged by our client, Daly Industrial Supply Company Ltd, to recruit a Sales Person to join their existing team.

Daly Industrial is Ireland's leading Hire Shop supply specialist. They have been supplying a complete range of tools and equipment to hire shops throughout Ireland since 1984. Daly Industrial operate from Lower Glanmire Road, Cork.

Daly Industrial are the national distributors for Ryobi, STIHL, Stephill Generators HYCON, Compair, Besto and many other leding brands.

Services include wholesale distribution, trade sales, retail sales and hire. Daly Industrial also has an experienced service team who repair and service all products in its range including managing warranty issues.

The Role

Key aspects of the role will include the following requirements:

• Develop new business through sales of our full range of products
• Consolidate our existing base of customers
• To target, open and develop key nominated accounts
• Day to day account management
• To become expert in and maintain up-to-date knowledge of new developments in our market and what our competitors are offering

The Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in the construction or related industries. It would be a significant advantage if a candidate presented with experience in our specific industry, however this is not a requirement.

The successful candidate must be:

•Hard working, self motivated, organised and reliable
•Used to working on his/her own initiative
•Creative and focused on developing new opportunities
•Experienced in managing and maintaining quality customer relationships
•Capable of handling responsibility and delegating responsibility when necessary
•Capable of meeting sales targets as set
