Depot Manager/Operations Manager

 Leading distributor of Industrial products into the manufacturing/recycling/power sector.

This is an operational role with responsibility for the day to day service activities.

The team is comprised of three service engineers and an administrator and growth of this team is planned in the coming year

Part of the role is key account management, so someone with some sales background would be advantageous. 

The core activity of the operation is:

·         rubber lining (both on site and in the workshop) of all substrates (tanks, pipes, spool pieces, drums and rollers 

·         conveyor belt vulcanising

·         product sales for the bulk material handling sector

The industry sectors covered are:

·         mines

·         chemical

·         power

·         recycling  

·         Oem’s and fabricators

·         Trade

Ideally we are  looking for someone with experience in this field or knowledge of the products through an engineering or bulk material handling background. Although any technical operations background will be considered.

Product training will be given.
