SALES MANAGER, SOLAR THERMAL SYSTEMS

The Big green.ie a leading renewable energy company requires a self-starter Business Development Manager manage sales & marketing of turnkey solar thermal installations. This role is ideal for those with knowledge of, and a passion for, delivering exceptional renewable energy solutions to customers across a range of sectors,
The role will initially be based in the solar thermal sector, and will expand to encompass other technologies.

THE JOB
Lead a team of 6-10 sales reps to reach their targets.
Manage and motivate the team.
Key account management.
Implement a structure so as to have a highly effective field sales team.
Create sales activity plans to ensure your team hits their individual and collective targets.
Report to senior management.
Administrative duties to keep track of account activity.

TASKS
daily communication
point of sales demonstrations
log outcome of each call
know planned activity for each rep
review and compile sales statistics
run weekly sales team meeting
have weekly meeting with director and financial manager and sales meeting
recruitment of and training of sales team
set targets for sales team
quaility and presentation of sales reps

EXPERIENCE:
You must have 2-3 years experience in a sales manager position.
Experience in recruitment, training and motivating a team.
It literacy.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a contagious enthusiasm and passion for sales. They will be an over-achiever that can consistently exceed sales targets. They will be ambitious and always willing to raise the bar.

Experience in running successful direct sales teams is essential, experience in solar would be a distinct advantage.

An excellent remuneration package is offered. This is to include a generous salary; substantial target driven bonuses a laptop and phone are also included.
