Sales Executive – Grand Hotel

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Executive to join our team at the 4* Grand Hotel, Malahide.

We are seeking a high energy, highly motivated and driven person with a strong sales and results focus. The successful candidate should be a career-oriented individual with a desire to reach challenging targets and a proven ability to network successfully.

The ideal candidate shall have the ability to do the following:

Develop a consistent and strong market position for the Grand Hotel, Malahide and the Marine Hotel, Sutton;

Maintain contact with both Hotel’s existing customers and visit on a regular basis;
Generate new business for both Hotels;

Use Delphi and Opera as data bases to foster new business and maintain existing relationships;

Meet the Budget and Targets given to you by the Sales & Marketing Manager;

Follow up on any sales calls opportunities for the Hotel as requested by the Sales & Marketing Manager and the Managing Director;

Monitor all lost business and report to the Sales & Marketing Manager and the Managing Director;

Make recommendations on how the Hotel is to compensate for lost business;

Carry out presentations to customers as agreed by the Sales & Marketing Manager;

Assist in the organisation of events such as in-house promotions, trade shows, etc;

Servicing Customer Accounts in the local Dublin market and in the Regional markets.

Excellent attention to detail and focus on customer service required.

Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position involving both shift and weekend work.
