PCO is looking for a self-motivated individual with good analytical skills to help drive the achievement of company sales targets. You will be a key member of the sales team and [b][red]will be required to provide a comprehensive analysis of our market and the buying patterns of our customers so that our sales account managers have the required information to develop and produce effective proposals to our clients. [/b][/red]
You will also have an opportunity to advise and develop initiatives that will enable the sales team to approach the market in a targeted and focused manner resulting in better margins, good product spread and overall an increase in our revenue.
[b][red]Location [/b][/red]
The position is office based and we are located in Ashbourne, Co Meath.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain a good knowledge and understanding of our overall product portfolio and our market, sector so that changes and trends in the sector can be analysed and addressed proactively.
• Run relevant reports on a regular basis to analyse our customer purchasing behaviour and identify opportunities to increase business and meet our customer’s needs.
• Present findings and recommendations to management in a manner that provides an insight into the trends and market so that we continue to provide the products needed in the market at the correct price range.
• Work with our Field Sales Representatives and the Sales Team to understand customer buying patterns and their needs.
• Provide holiday cover for account managers and assist with administration and the tendering processing as required
• Attend and contribute to departmental Sales Meetings, providing data and information on trends and sales analysis as well as presenting ideas and opportunities that will enable the sales team to provide their customers with the required product range the enhances their relationship and customer engagement.
• Identify reports and systems needs so that the required information is captured for analysis
• Be available to the sales team as an advisor as well and as being a source of data for the management team.
[b][red]Skills and Experience[/b][/red]
• Good Analytical and numerical skills with the ability to probe and address sales reports and product data
• Experience of working as part of a sales team ideally in the pharmaceutical sector.
• A good communicator with the ability to provide reports and analysis in a manner that the business and the various departments can address.
• Excellent ability with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
• Have a good understanding of data systems and the ability to develop reports needed for deeper analysis of information.
• Uses their initiative, shows accountability and can take responsibility for their own work as well as being able to work well with other teams members.
