PR/ Marketing Executive – Dublin – Events Industry

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen with in our Company – Eventhaus.  We are passionate about running events whether large or small, business or consumer based in Ireland or further afield and wish to hire a highly skilled, self-motivated and dynamic PR/Marketing Executive. 

The successful candidate will be expected to work across our full Event Portfolio in Ireland and abroad including public and trade events as well as hospitality and social events.  If you are passionate about events and feel you have what it takes to work with this dynamic and growing company we would like to hear from you.

The candidate should

·         Have a minimum of 2 years PR and marketing experience

·         Be educated to degree level, preferably in a related subject

·         Have excellent written and verbal communications skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills.

·         Must be flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed time frames and have a proven ability to oversee marketing and PR activities.

·         Be a motivated self-starter who is comfortable scheduling and attending meetings with current and potential clients and making presentations when required.

·         Be willing to work evenings and weekends as the role dictates

·         Have the ability to adapt and integrate into a small, hard-working team

Responsibilities and duties will include

·         Developing  and maintaining a database of media contacts.

·         Creating marketing/public relations strategy for each event that will cultivate and enhance meaningful relationships as required with targeted, high-level external audiences, including the media, exhibitors, sponsors and the public.

·         Achievement of frequent, timely and positive media coverage across all available media to include compilation and distribution of press releases.

·         Compilation of marketing collateral for events in consultation with the relevant Event Manager including copywriting and liaising with graphic designers, printers and web developers.

·         Management of sponsorship campaigns and sponsor relationships at every stage from initial presentation, contract agreement, event planning, on-site management and post event evaluation.

·         Maintaining and updating event websites

·         Compilation and implementation of social media campaigns

·         Compilation of sales and sponsorship presentations
