National Account Manager – Food industry – Meath / Westmeath

Role Overview:

To manage and develop customer accounts of Greene Farm Foods, achieving volume, net sales and profitability targets in line with the company strategy. To drive the growth of the Greene Farm Foods brand and effectively manage business relationships in your assigned accounts and assist in the development of growth.

The Role:

Effective management of Customer Accounts by:
– Building strong relationships with buyer and category managers
– Effective communication and rationalisation of category plans
– Communication through review meetings to retail buyers
– Engagement with store owners through store visits and also group owners and re-order buyers
– Present sales data at review meetings to agreed format
– Maintain and manage SKU reports through analysing sales margin and gross profit
– Ensure key sales budgets and company objectives are being met and maintained
– Negotiating joint business plans
– Consumer and customer insights. Providing on-going communication and feedback to business
– Promotion planning and maintenance are agreed in advance and communicated to sales support.
– Brand and own label development and category planning
– On-going event attendances when necessary
– Logging and monitoring store audits and visits in line with targets.
– Presenting weekly forecasts and annual forecasts at budget process
– Managing team of Sales Representatives as direct reports

The Requirements:

Work Experience
– Proven at least 5 years National Account Manager experience in a similar background, preferably in the retail food industry or FMCG.
– Customer facing experience.
– Proven success record of meeting and exceeding targets and growth KPI’s.
– Experience of people management and development of direct reports.

– Full clean current driving licence
