Motor Finance Business Development Manager

Job Description
  • Manage a Network of approx. 40 Franchised Motor Dealers, mainly based in Munster
  • Day to Day dealer visits monitoring performance and agreed targets
  • Monitor Dealer funding facilities ( new and used ) and report to HQ on any anomalies
  • Build a strong relationship with the Dealer Network, to enable us to benefit from any growth or opportunities 
  • Liaise daily with Dealer Principals/Sales Managers/Business Managers to help identify any areas for improvement
  • Contribute towards the internal sales team by providing regular feedback on performance 
  • Plan and carry out regular dealer visits including members of the internal Team
  • Assist the Wholesales Team in the collection of any outstanding Financial data
  • Build and follow up on actions plans with Dealer/manufacturer to assist in the continued growth of the company
  • Plan yearly reviews with the Dealer Network, in conjunction with the Network and Business Development Manager
  • Provide daily statistical information to the Dealer Network, using internal reporting tools
Candidate Profile
  • Candidate must have previous Motor Finance Sales experience (Captive experience would be a benefit)
  • Excellent knowledge of the Irish Motor trade
  • Must have Field based experience
  • Ability to deal at all levels within in Dealer Network
  • Candidate must possess strong understanding of the Motor Finance market including competition
  • Must have ability to work autonomously, and demonstrate ability to work remotely in a professional manner
  • Candidate must have up to date QFA or be Grandfathered with up to date CPD hours
  • Must be an effective a clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven history of consistently achieving and exceeding target
  • Must possess strong reporting ability
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Candidate must prove a clear understanding of HP/Leasing products
  • Candidate must have full clean drivers licence
