£22,000 OTE

Junior Sales Executive - Tooling Equipment – Northern Ireland

A market leading organisation is currently seeking a Junior Sales Executive who is keen and eager to grow and develop their career in sales.   

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate high levels of ambition and drive. This role requires 1-3 years prior experience in a sales or merchandising environment. The successful candidates will hold a valid driver’s licence with a reliable vehicle. 

The Junior Executive Sales will be in charge of prospecting for new clients by networking, cold calling, referrals or other means of generating interest from potential customers.

Basic Salary of St£16 – 17k D.O.E plus Commission

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research/generate new client leads
  • Increase client base through active sales and set up meetings with potential clients
  • Have an in depth understanding of Hardware and Builder Providers
  • Work closely with Senior Sales Representative
  • Remain knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and all aspects of the company's market.
  • Travel to client offices to conduct new sales meetings
  • This role will also involve merchandising existing customer displays

Job Functions:

  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
  • Analyses the territory/market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organization
  • Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment.
  • Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
  • Participates in trade shows and conventions.

The ideal candidate will need to be enthusiastic, a good communicator with good organizational skills and a self-starter with a strong will to succeed. Full, clean, driving licence essential.

This may suit a person who has spent a number of years in merchandising and now wants to progress to a sales role. The successful person will be living in one of the six counties of Northern Ireland.
