JOB OUTLINE
With a clear focus on the commercial aims of The Big Green’s Services you will sell central heating and associated products to the highest professional standards. You will be required to maximise the profitable sale of central heating systems, replacement boilers and various system improvements to customers in their home (appointments for these visits are made centrally, but there can sometimes be cold calling). This challenging and demanding role provides a degree of independence. The successful applicant will be required to work the hours necessary to meet sales targets and visit customers at times convenient to them, which will include evenings and weekends.
Full residential training is given in Sales process, Technical consideration, responsibilities and systems, including laptop computer, mobile phone and company vehicle.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a can-do attitude towards sales through the provision of a consistent track record of achievement within the direct selling environment, which will include the following Key Performance Indicators.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful applicant will be responsible for the achievement of sales targets, including revenue, volume, margin, finance and service product sales. You will need to be organised and have a hands-on approach ensuring performance levels are reached and maintained. Specification is important and full training will be given. Customer satisfaction must be demonstrated at all times to a high level and be maintained. You will be expected to collate and report figures on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Diary management will be important in being able to visit Engineers, Management and training sessions.
THE PERSON
You should have the ability to complete individual sales and contribute to your team target, perform within performance standards and exceed. You should be able to demonstrate sales success and will be asked to provide a record of sales if selected for interview.
Applicants will also need to demonstrate a technical aptitude/knowledge of the design and installation of central heating and associated products at the application stage.
You must have the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with both internal and external customers connection, You will also demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm, self-motivation and a desire for success in order to achieve expected performance levels.
You should have the ability to build strong relationships with other parts of the business to enhance the customer experience and for the benefit of the company into the future. You must be able to demonstrate competence over the following competencies:
• Manage a territory with a primary focus on generating appointments and sales.
• Achieve growth and revenue target objectives by using innovative sales & marketing solutions.
• Experience in door to door sales including cold-calling and generating new business is essential.Although most appointments are pre arranged.
• The ideal candidate will be resourceful, have excellent communicating skills, strong persuading abilities and a winning attitude combined with a hard working goal driven approach.
• The role involves Selling replacement boilers, powerflushing and heating systems to home owners in their homes.
• A confident individual with excellent presentation skills with a professional image is crucial.
• Comfortable with all stages of the sales process and not afraid to ask for the order.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
This is a fantastic opportunity where there is a basic salary, company vehicle, laptop and mobile phone Commission is uncapped with a significant realistic earning potential of €65k + OTE per annum, plus benefits is on offer.
