Sales Rep Job brief
We are looking for a competitive field sales representative to attract new clients and source new sales opportunities. In addition we require you to service your existing ledger and close sales to achieve weekly target. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads and qualifying prospects.
Responsibilities
· Maintain and expand your client database using various sales methods (cold calling, regular calls and site visits, following up on internal and external leads, setting appointments, following site plans and referrals)
· Meet personal and team weekly sales targets
· Provide sales manager with regular updates, use detailed territory planning and report final figures daily
· Open and maintain client accounts thus generating repeat orders
· Attend weekly sales meeting on a Friday
· Evaluate customer’s needs and build productive long lasting relationships
· Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory
Requirements
· Strong product knowledge of Timber, Building Materials and DIY products
· Proven sales experience and track record of over-achieving quota
· Can work to agreed structure and is fully accountable to management
· Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
· Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
· Self-motivated and driven
· Sharp professional appearance
· Computer use competency
