Our Client is now recruiting for an experienced Director of Sales for a leading Food innovation company. Job Summary • Responsible for the sales portfolio within specified customers. • Responsible for driving sales and managing the Sales Team • Responsible for building strong customer intimacy, building the brand, introducing and selling new innovative products, and driving point of sale presence and activity. • Responsible for delivering account specific targets set as per the target process Key Areas of Responsibility • Actively drives sales & profitability per key accounts by constructing & implementing a strategy to achieve set targets and grow the business. •Executes company processes & policies at accounts (margin, pricing, marketing logistics) •Building Relationships with key accoutns and bringing on new Accoutns for the business. • Ensures Sales targets per account are achieved per FY. • Actively seeks & positions new concepts and promotional plans per customer ensuring an added value relationship with the account. • Ensures competition is actively benchmarked and acted upon jointly with marketing. • Gives structured feedback and conclusions from customers to Head office Accountable •Develop relationships with key accounts •Acchieving and increasing sales Targets within ROI •Bringing on new Accounts •Managing ROI Team Responsible •Generating & acting upon account specific customer knowledge/insights • Customer Strategy and associated objectives • Account Plans & budgeting •Securing agreed Clients •Product introduction after listing •Account profitability • Agree with category management the account specific in-store tools needed to drive sales results (promo, sec placement, demo) •Sales Forecasting •Business Development and increaing Brand awareness Requirments • Minimum 3 to 4 years as Sales Manager ideally within the food/Food packaging industry. • Bach degree level with Business/Commercial direction • Excellent industry specific client contacts • Experience in/knowledge of market scenario’s and competitors – FMCG Experience • Understanding of the relevant supply chain • B2B background • Ability to manage customer P&L • Excellent negotiation skills • Business management – creation skills (objective setting and implementation) • Strong team player • Fluent English required
