Customer Account Manager – Dublin

We are a leading manufacturer of paving and flags, masonry blocks, retaining walls, bricks (including a mortarless brick system), hollowcore flooring, precast stairs, concrete, blocks and quarried stone.

We currently have a vacancy within our successful Sales team to cover the Greater Dublin area.

Customer Account Manager

The successful candidate is required to effectively manage and develop customer accounts for Acheson & Glover Ltd and ensure that sales and profitability targets are exceeded. The Customer Account Manager will be responsible for business-to-business sales and relationships within their region, including those to contractors and selected specifiers.

KEY DUTIES

1) To improve sales revenue and profitability of customer accounts in their sales region

2) To enhance performance of customer accounts and develop strategies for maintaining and improving relationships with key decision-makers

3) To identify potential customer accounts either not trading with Acheson & Glover or not trading to full potential and deliver plans for winning the business

4) To track and convert specifications for Acheson & Glover’s products and overturn those of competitors

5) To fully utilise the company’s CRM system to record and analyse customer account information and promote 1st class customer service

6) To identify potential new market opportunities for Acheson & Glover and key market trends

7) To work as an effective member of the external sales team for Acheson & Glover

8) To conduct CPDs as required

9) To work effectively with all other functions of the business including internal sales, credit control and despatch to ensure the highest level of customer service

10) To accurately forecast customer demand and requirements to enable effective operations planning

11) To positively influence customers’ perceptions of Acheson & Glover and promote the company as being the supplier of choice for concrete products

12) To act as an ambassador for Acheson & Glover and promote the company’s values at all times

Essential Criteria:

• Experience of working in a busy sales/customer focused environment

• Experience of working to deadlines and exceeding sales targets

• Experience of dealing with customers at the highest level

• Excellent communication and problem solving skills

• Valid, clean driving licence

Desirable Criteria:

• Knowledge of Acheson & Glover Ltd’s products

• Relevant industry experience
