Business Development Rep – Wexford or Waterford
Our Client has a vacancy for an experienced Business Development Rep for a one year contact based in Wexford or Waterford.
To achieve designated AVC standards, sales & distribution targets organise, implement agreed sampling/promotional activity and merchandising. To provide feedback/reporting on IDPR activity in designated accounts as well as feedback on consumer trends and customer feedback to substantially contribute to IDPR’s understanding of trends and opportunities from a consumer perspective
Responsibilities:
* Takes ownership of assigned territory by proposing and agreeing an appropriate journey plan and call rates with FSM-
* Achieve sales and distribution targets as agreed with FSM
* Organise sampling/promotional activity (as agreed with trade marketing) in designated accounts and attend these events as agreed with FSM
* Ensure implementation of agreed consumer promotions/samplings and ensure that all activity is undertaken in accounts agreed with trade marketing and within agreed time frames
* Achieve Availability, Visibility and Communication standards through the implementation of the Golden Rules for designated Dublin accounts
* Ensure that head office / key account agreements are rigorously adhered to and policed at individual account level as agreed with Key Accounts team
* Regular, timely, accurate & constructive communication / reporting to line manager and whoever “needs to know” to maximize the company’s responsiveness and performance in keeping with our vision
* Weekly reports to ensure timely, relevant, clear and accurate feedback-this feedback to include information on trends, customer comment, IDPR sampling, IDPR activity in designated accounts and value judgements in terms of trends noted in accounts visited
Requirements:
Leaving Certificate
4 Years experience in FMCG sales , preferably in the Drinks industry
Proactive attitude
Organised and Self motivated
Excellent Written and Spoken English
