Business Development Executive – OTE €60K – Wicklow – DIY / Kitchen / Wardrobe Industries

Smart Storage is a fast growing Irish business, with expansion plans for both the Irish & Uk market.

[b][red]Following our exposure on Dragons Den 2012 [/b][/red]the business has seen substantial growth and now needs an energetic and experienced business development executive to help drive the expansion into the DIY & Trade Distributor sector initially throughout Ireland and subsequently to the UK

Smart Storage is an award winning company, which was founded in 2011 and has quickly grown in the Irish market to become a leading household name through its understairs storage product.

The company has recently launched its range in the UK where sales are growing rapidly.

Following our exposure on Dragons Den in 2012, the business has seen substantial growth. The company has now developed a portfolio of storage solution products that are ready to be sold and marketed through the DIY Distributor chains & also the kitchen / wardrobe retailer in both Ireland & the UK.

[b][red]The company has won an Eircom Start up award in 2012, has been shortlisted as a finalist in Ulster banks Business Achievers awards & Ernest & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year 2013. [/b][/red]

[b][red]Role consists of:[/b][/red]
1: Identify, qualify and target suitable Distributors throughout Ireland as per the Business Development Plan.
2: Consistently achieve meeting and revenue quotas as set down in the business development plan
3: Developing commercial proposals and negotiating terms with potential distributors.
4: Following the Smart Storage Sales Process,including the use of our CRM tool Managing and developing distributor relationships to achieve mutual goals and to drive repeat sales.

[b][red]Background of candidate:[/b][/red]
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3-5 years s in B2B sales in the Hardware, DIY, kitchen & wardrobe trade sector.

1. Experience of dealing & negotiating with large distribution chains.
2. Knowledge of the DIY sector in Ireland
3. Knowledge of the Kitchen & Wardrobe sector in Ireland.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Energetic & professional approach to work, with drive to succeed.
Ability to work alone and unsupervised
• Ability to listen to customers needs and transfer these into opportunities
• Ability to work within a structured sales and business development plan and action the plan to achieve the required targets.
