Our Client a leader in the Education Publishing sector now wish to recruit an experienced Brand Marketer for a full time role.
The Brand Marketer will be responsible to is to build profitability and loyalty to the clients brands through highly targeted and integrated marketing communications campaigns (online and offline), and customer-centric products. The successful candidate will have experience in all areas of responsibility listed and after some product training, will be able to execute effective campaigns from the start
Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager the successful candidate duties will include:.
1 Brand Management: Promote, Drive & Maintain the brand(s) in Ireland maintaining and growing our a Market Leadership Position. Have a central role in owning and developing company and product brands
2 Digital Marketing: Develop, maximise and deliver digital presence – marketing website(s), social, community and e-mail – for assigned brand(s) to drive customer engagement and product promotion.
3 Campaign Management: Design, Deliver & Measure highly effective and differentiated integrated (online and offline) targeted brand marketing & sales promotion campaigns that create the desired results and grow customer engagement.
4 Event Management: Organisation, execution, follow-up and review of events to promote core programmes and build loyalty in key customers
5 Product Design: working with Product Development and Commercial teams ensure that the product features and cover designs are brought to life in a Brand & customer centric manner.
Requirements
* Technical Marketing skills in brand management and communications in particular.
* Marketing campaign planning and execution skills
* Digital marketing skills, with excellent understanding of social marketing strategy and Website Content Management and user engagement
* A strong aptitude for strategic thinking, involving all key decision factors
* Ability to manage own time – Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Planful – setting objectives and goals, concentrating efforts on more important priorities and using time efficiently and effectively. Good organisation and planning skills required in order to manage multiple projects
* Analytical & Solution oriented with high degree of attention to detail
* Perseverance and tenacity and the ability to see things through to the close, seeing challenges as opportunities.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop highly effective relationships with key internal/external stakeholders.
* Self-driven –the ability to work on own initiative and be self-motivated to succeed without close supervision.
* The flexibility and adaptability to embrace the development of new product types, technologies and methodologies in the education market.
* Integrity, honesty and openness and a proven ability to engage and influence with authenticity.
Must Haves
* 3rd level qualification in Marketing (degree level or 5 years’ experience)
* 2 years in a brand marketing or communications role
* Proven ability in online marketing (including SEO, AdWords, PPC, email marketing and social media marketing)
* Proven track record in delivering results with a pro-active attitude and approach to team working.
* Proven ability in data analysis and reporting (important for segmentation, targeting, measurement, etc)
* Excellent Communication skills: Excellent verbal, business writing, and presentation skills with high level of attention to detail (Excellent written English is essential as the role encompasses the need to routinely produce benefit driven marketing copy). Presentation skills both one to one and in groups (small and large)
* Strong IT skills: MS Office (esp. Excel), CRM systems and eMailing solutions
* Interest and passion for Irish Education
