Area Sales Manager – Leinster – Professional Tools & Equipment Industry

Role : Area Sales Manager – Leinster

Reports to : National Sales Manager

The Company: Jefferson Professional Tools & Equipment is part of the McIntyre Group, a family owned business with a history dating back 58 years, with significant growth over the last number of years, and the company is going from strength to strength.  Head office and distribution is based in Northern Ireland from our dedicated 60,000sqft warehouse, offering a next day delivery service throughout the 32 counties, with full sales, service, marketing and financial support.

Scope of the role : As Area Sales Manager, the successful candidate will take over what is an established and very significant territory, currently delivering exceptional results. An opportunity exists for the right candidate to take this area into the next phase of growth. This role is pivotal to support our ambitions for the designated territory. It is a field based role, the main elements of which will be to focus on maintaining and developing existing customer and dealer relationships as well as business development into strategic sectors and new customer acquisition. A clear focus on developing profitable business through customer relationship management and development, whilst working as part of a driven sales team.

 

Core Requirements :     

Proactively manage existing relationships and implement sales growth within our existing dealers

Conduct local research in the designated area to find new business

Dealer support – Initial brand set-up, open days, training and ongoing communication and relationship building

Deliver the companies ambitions for growth; both customer and product orientated

Be market aware – competitor analysis and reporting, market trends

 

Experience, Education & Qualification : Ideally with a strong sales background, multi channel applications welcome, with business development and account management history, good financial awareness with a solid understanding of the entire sales process.

 

Behaviours : Highly motivated and driven individual, self-starter, outgoing personality with exceptional people skills, goal orientated.

Fantastic Salary Package Available – Negotiable depending upon experience.
