Indeed our growing on-line offering takes our total audience reach up to over 1.1 million. With a history going back to 1828 our newspapers and online channels serve the counties of Westmeath, Offaly, Mayo, Meath and Cavan as well as the neighboring hinterlands of these counties. Celtic Media Group comprises the Westmeath Examiner, the Westmeath Independent, the Offaly Independent, the Connaught Telegraph, the Meath Chronicle and the Anglo Celt.
In addition to the publishing side of the business Celtic Media Group also owns and operates its own state-of-the-art newspaper print plant in Navan which is backed up by an expert pre-press design centre headquartered at our offices in Mullingar. These two industry leading facilities enable Celtic Media Group to offer a full production and printing outsourcing solution to the wider newspaper industry and we currently operate outsourcing contracts for some of the country’s most recognised regional and daily newspaper titles.
