[b]Main Purpose of Role[/b]
The Account Management team manages the Abacus Infrastructure commercial relationship with its customers and leads the implementation of new initiatives as well as reporting on client specific account management plans.  You are also responsible for seeking new business opportunities within the existing client base and also for developing a pipeline of new potential clients.
The position is largely self-motivated and a high degree of personal motivation is essential. 
You will be responsible for establishing relationships with existing clients and meeting/exceeding targeted growth of your existing and new accounts as well as building new relationships with key players in the Fire & Security Industry
[b]Key Accountabilities[/b]
•	To be the primary management interface between Abacus Infrastructure and key Customers. Developing joint business plans which link their strategies and commercial objectives to those of Abacus and seek new business opportunities that deliver mutual benefit.
•	To negotiate commercial deals for the account, delivering operating plan commitments and maximising account profitability.
•	To develop and implement new areas of business and projects which support Abacus Infrastructure strategy and improve service value in Abacus Infrastructure key business areas.
•	To manage a network of contacts at all levels within the accounts in order to maintain an up to date knowledge and understanding of their objectives, strategies and expectations.
•	To act as an internal champion for the accounts within Abacus Infrastructure and to represent the company within the confines of the commercial relationship.
•	Within the pre defined framework to approve all discount payments and marketing / entertaining expenditure within the account.
•	The commercial environment is fast paced, highly competitive and continually evolving. The Account Manager needs to be focused, agile and must ensure that they create and sustain a competitive advantage. 
•	Provide weekly / monthly KPIs including operational SLAs and revenue.
•	Hitting targets and strive for over-performance.
•	Ensuring Abacus Infrastructure is recognised within Facilities Management Industry and is known within the selected markets as a viable, cost-effective solution supplier.
•	To provide and co-ordinate business presentations to clients;
•	To effectively liaise with, and support all other departments within the company;
•	Liaise with engineers to estimate sites before quoting to the customers.
•	Provide proposals to new and existing clients for Fire & Security infrastructure that fully meets company standards and  industry recognised standards and legal requirements
•	Ensure approval received from Sales & Operations Manager on all quotes
•	Be responsible to introduce, build and maintain key relationships between customers and management of Abacus Infrastructure
•	To carry out any other duties which may reasonably be expected/requested;

Education
•	Of graduate calibre or Higher education
Qualifications
•	A degree is not essential, but a high degree of intelligence is required.
•	Professionally trained with a disciplined and structured approach;
