Senior Sales & Business Development Executive – Dublin Our Client a privider of sporting footwear and accessories are looking for a senior sales and developmetn rep to drive their business forward.
Responsibilities
* Develop new business relationships help grow existing business.
* Reach sales targets.
* Present collections at showrooms to potential clients through direct communication in face to face meetings, telephone calls and emails.
* Actively and successfully carry out lead generation: appointment setting; credentials pitch; information gathering; solutions and negotiations.
* Ensure all sales opportunities are captured, explored and qualified.
* Responsible for all aspects of new business development, supporting and working in tandem with CEO.
* Represent the Company at networking events to capture market intelligence as well as potential new brands.
* Keep abreast of footwear trends and issues affecting the sector.
* Create and be accountable for proposals, contracts and ensuring communication of standards are understood at retail level.
* Ensure training is given to all shop floor staff and the concept of the product is understood.
* Interact effectively with all staff ensuring you are fully and correctly briefed with campaigns/projects/marketing.
* Ensure all retailers respect our brand guidelines.
* Establish a good rapport with retailers/buyers/sales staff in each stockist by visiting on location.
Competencies required
* A minimum of 2-5 years experience in similar role, footwear would be a distinct advantage.
* Knowledge of the retail market.
* Proven success in sales ability with experience in selling and show full knowledge of the sales process.
* Excellent communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone and presentation.
* Understanding of business objectives including return on investment objectives.
* Ability to pitch effectively and have relevant presentation and or strategy for a successful result.
* Confident negotiator and ability to ‘close the deal’
* Commercial awareness and have strong numerical skills.
* Capable to deliver on promises.
* Problem solving and possess the ability to generate ideas.
* Ability to cope with demands and prioritise tasks.
* Excellent organisational skills and time management skills.
* Work as a team player and also as an individual.
* Experience with ordering systems.
* Proficient in all Microsoft Office.
* Full, Clean Driving Licence as the role involves travelling.
* Possess a passport as overseas travel is likely.
