The Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical project management within enterprise software development in a distributed architecture. Strong agile experience with Scrum or another agile process is required. The ability to dig into business requirements, together with a pro-active attitude and experience working with agile distributed development teams is a must. You must be able to work in a rapidly changing environment under pressure and against tight deadlines and will need to be pragmatic when making decisions.

Reporting to the Head of IT, responsibilities will include:
• Project management lead in Irish Office working under overall programme management from London
• Building an effective and productive technical team
• Day-to-day project management within an agile (scrum) distributed development environment, taking the role of product owner and / or scrum master as needed, as well as coaching team members
• Product owner liaison with UK product management team and communicate requirements and priorities
• Continuous process improvement
• Progress reporting and feedback to UK head office

The Candidate
• All round project manager with over 5 years relevant experience
• Exceptional communicator and team builder
• Extensive project management experience working with distributed development teams experience in any high-level programming language, capable building and managing high performing Scrum teams who continuously deliver within short sprints.
• Experience managing an off-shore development team up to 50 developers.
• Proven experience working in an agile environment applying lean and agile principles and methodologies, e.g. Scrum, Kanban, TDD, BDD, etc…
• Knowledge of popular tools, i.e. Jira, Greenhopper, Confluence
