Internal Sales Manager (Chief Estimator) – Louth – Must have degree in Mechanical Engineering

Established in 1995 in Ireland to supply the North Sea, the company is now a global supplier with design and manufacturing facilities in Ireland, UK, Poland, Thailand, China and Brazil as well as sales offices in USA and Norway.

Due to our continued growth and success, we are looking to recruit a self-motivated, career orientated individual to join our Sales Team in Dunleer, Co. Louth.

[b][red]The Internal Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the Sales Office and the Sales Enquiry System.[/b][/red]

[b][red]Duties include:[/b][/red]

 Manage the Sales Office, and being responsible for the information flow within.

 Maintain/ Update the Sales Enquiry System, costing folders and enquiry book.

 Manage and delegate enquiries to Estimating team.

 Prepare full costing sheets and draft specifications for enquiries.

 Prepare and issue sales quotations, ensuring Customer requirements have been correctly interpreted, and responded to in a timely manner, with subsequent follow up with Customer.

 Obtaining quotes for special items, and quotes for transport of equipment where needed.

 Liaising with Engineering, Production and Procurement in various Suretank Facilities to ensure that all costings, specifications and lead-times used in quotations are accurate and result in expected margins.

 Preparation of Order acknowledgements and handover documents.

 Develop and maintain good knowledge and understanding of all Company products, drawings and specifications.

 Establish strong working relationships with external clients.

 Report, audit and strengthen the Estimating process:
o Analyse various pricing scenarios.
o Create cost models and quote design.
o Responsible for re-pricing products as market fluctuates, ensuring pricing is updated, margins are assigned properly and relevant people are informed of relevant changes.
o Ensure efficient and effective quoting process for the Company.

 Work with Management and other functions within Suretank on various continuous product and process improvement projects.

 Degree in Mechanical Engineering

 Willingness to learn product and codes of construction as required (i.e. DNV, ASME, ADR etc.).

 Previous experience in sales/costings,

 Demonstrated experience troubleshooting or resolving customers queries,

 Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail,

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills,

 Self motivated, committed individual who can join existing sales team and gel quickly,

 Strong interpersonal and presentation skills,

 A strong work ethic.
