Business Development Manager

My client’s service provides a supportive, personal service to freelance contractors in the UK and across the world. The company will help a contractor identify and win their next contract, facilitate any legal requirements for the contractor to start and where required arrange for advice on the best financial solution relevant to the contractor for the country they choose to work in.
In order to help our contractors quickly find their next contract we need to build and develop relationships with recruitment agencies in the UK. The successful applicant will be mainly office based in Dublin working alongside two other consultants, a team of 30 plus financial services consultants and the Resource Team.

You will be required to explain the services of the company and also refer contractors to the company for support and financial advice where required.
As relationships develop you will be expected to travel to meet Recruiters to further introduce our services and develop the relationship – coffee/lunches etc. Full training will be given.
A number of marketing campaigns have been initiated and follow up telephone calls are required to support this.

Key Requirements
• Must have spent the last two/three years in a telesales, direct sales or business development role, B2B/B2C.
• The successful candidate will have responsibility for developing, and managing the relationships with recruitment agencies once they have been developed so a good telephone manner and conversational skills will be required.
• Selling and Negotiation skills
• Consultancy approach to business development with a strong ethic of service delivery
• A demonstrable business development and account management track record delivering to demanding targets
• Strong social and interpersonal skills
• Recruitment background preferable, particularly within a UK Recruitment Agency background

Salary depending on experience €28,000 – €30,000
