[b][red]What we are looking for:[/b][/red]
We are looking for an individual with a can-do attitude who has a project or sales background. We are flexible on the background experience of the candidate but we are interested in candidates with experience of developing business opportunities in new areas.
This role is based split between office and visiting clients at their premises throughout Ireland. [b][red]The ideal candidates would have electrical engineering experience coupled with some industry experience.[/b][/red]
In particular, we are looking for the following:
A candidate who is capable of driving business forward in a competitive marketplace and can, within a short time frame, demonstrate a solid pipeline and achieve sales orders.
The ability to develop sales strategies and meet tight deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A positive approach will be essential along with excellent problem solving skills and an abundance of drive and determination.
[b][red]Objectives of the Role:[/b][/red]
The Technical Sales Manager shall manage key accounts and pursue new business opportunities in Ireland. This is a great opportunity to develop a sales career with an innovative company who have witnessed strong year on year growth and who have maintained sales in a difficult business environment.
This role is being created to increase our offering to existing clients and develop new and increased streams of revenue and profitability from new clients.
[b][red]Key Duties and Responsibilities:[/b][/red]
Increase sales revenue from existing clients.
Pursue new clients who may benefit from company products or services and maximizing client potential
Develop new revenue streams
Working with the engineering department to promote new offerings in the area of energy management, power quality and backup power
Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
Initiate, prepare and deliver, technical sales quotes and tenders for public contracts
Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
Develop and deliver technical sales presentations
Work on own initiative without supervision and have the ability to give and receive feedback
Communicate regularly with COO and provide weekly reports
Support the business development team with large tenders
