SUMMARY:
This position reports to the VP of Sales and is responsible for profitable revenue generation from assigned distributors. The Account Manager must meet or exceed corporate growth goals, including consumed revenue for new and existing tours from account base. The Account Manager will make sales presentations to promote the growth of the brand, specific destinations and tours as well as create and execute sales strategies, marketing and promotional programs with their accounts. Based in Dublin headquarters, the territory is global and assigned accounts based on several factors including geography, production, channel, skills, etc.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the primary day-to-day contact with assigned accounts
- Consistently sell the value of our client’s products vs. our competition
- Drive revenue production from assigned accounts ensuring distributors load, promote and sell our clients tours globally
- Build and maintain relationships on multiple levels within assigned accounts.
Develop and execute a plan to increase the number of quality distributors at a low acquisition cost and ongoing commission cost.
- Develop sales plans and marketing/promotional strategies for assigned account base
- Responsible for complete knowledge of all our client’s products, services, and brand representation and ensuring account ensuring distributors are kept up to date with the latest information on tours, destinations, pricing and product enhancements
- Analyse sales data in order to present monthly and quarterly business reviews with assigned distributors. Schedule corresponding travel as needed/warranted.
- Work with B2B Team and other departments to leverage efforts and opportunities across the brand and globally. Manage & prioritize sales support work load in conjunction with the B2B Team
- Liaise with all departments to ensure revenue comes to fruition and proactively share distributor feedback to capture any opportunities or resolve issues.
- Gather and communicate progress of growing database within responsibility to develop a distributor profile in order to efficiently and effectively manage the business (ROI, cost of sale, destination expertise, marketing opportunities)
- Understand and monitor the competitive environment to ensure that our client’s products are competitive in the marketplace.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will be responsible for managing promotional & commission costs with each distributor, travel expenses, and other costs associated with the cultivation of the business.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or combination of education and experience. Travel industry background preferred. Outside sales experience [min. 3 years]
- Must be aggressive, self-motivated and a self-starter.
- Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Must have strong presentation skills Must have strong organizational skills and being detail oriented is critical Must be able to travel.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Based in the Dublin headquarters the environment includes work inside/outside the office, travel to other offices and distributor locations, including domestic & international travel in order to properly manage the business
