Sales Executive – Leinster Region
As part of our client’s ongoing expansion in Ireland, they now have a requirement for a Technical Sales Executive in the Leinster area to join their well-established and successful business. Their software solutions are geared towards the transport/vehicle space where they partner with both consumers and companies (from the FMCG, Construction industries) seeking to manage assets and personal risk via their product range.
Salary: €43-45k OTE (€55K)
Location: Leinster
Duties:
- Carry out face to face appointments with key decision makers.
- Responsibility for the preparation and delivery of sales presentations, demonstrations, solution proposal, responses to tenders.
- Develop new accounts within specific and designated markets.
- Identify new product applications.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of group products and be able to demonstrate this to customers
- Achieve sales targets and deliver sales growth.
- Develop a distribution network by channel.
- To be aware of and report on any competitive activity within the territory (e.g. new products, special price deals etc.)
- To be involved in any exhibitions that the company may hold from time to time
- Report regularly on weekly sales activity and business developments.
- Attend sales and product meetings as required from time to time.
- Maintain sufficient contact with other members of the organisation to ensure that good communications between customers and the company are achieved.
Requirements and Person Profile:
- You will have the ability to think strategically and in line with the goals and objectives of our client.
- Will require attention to detail and constant focus on opportunities in a changing technological and highly competitive environment.
- Have at least 3 years relevant experience in a Technical Sales role.
- Strong field sales skills.
- Experience selling a technical product.
- A track record of developing new business opportunities is essential.
- As a self-starter, you will need to possess excellent communication, planning and organisation skills.
- Strong financial awareness and literacy with the ability to relate this to a business to business environment.
- The capability to effectively manage time and work on your own initiative.
- Have a valid clean driving licence.
- Background in channel sales/distribution and an ability to plan and implement a sales strategy.
