Job Description:
Job title: Technical Sales Engineer
Based at: John Morfield Limited, Little Island, Cork, the surrounding area, and target accounts in Ireland
Payment: Competitive negotiable salary based on sales experience with OTE and company bonus.
The successful candidate will receive an attractive remuneration package including:

Reports to: Sales Director
Objectives: Working as part of the filtration sales team, the ideal candidate should have a proven track record for selling into a full range of manufacturing industries including: Pharmaceutical, Fine Chemical, Food and Beverage, and General Engineering.
You will be responsible for selling all types of filtration products with the main emphasis on liquid process filtration, into existing customers and targeted new business opportunities.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Developing existing customer accounts and identify and target new business opportunities
Appointment making and working to a sales plan
Managing customer quotations as well as building close relationships with customers.
Communicating and liaising with suppliers and manufacturers
The applicant should have an understanding of customer requirements, applications, and specifications to enable them to recommend products or services that best meets their needs.
Conducting full site surveys, identifying all sales opportunities.
Providing customers with up-to-date product information.
Attending and actively contributing to sales review meetings
Managing and prioritising day to day activities.
Report regularly on weekly sales activity and business developments.
Maintain a high standard of customer service and professional attitude at all times
Follow company procedures and perform all other duties requested to ensure the smooth running of the sales role
The successful candidate will receive excellent on the job training and continuous support to be able to carry out the role to the best of their ability
Person-profile:
Minimum of 2-3 years Sales Experience
Talent for effectively interacting with individuals at all levels of an organization, both verbally and written
Self-motivated to work independently, with team support, to close business deals
Has achieved literacy and numeracy standards, and able to write legibly and write reports
Effectively work with SAP, Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, internet and email.
Demonstrated commitment to completing tasks and objectives
Preferably living in the Cork area and sufficiently mobile
Has a full clean or near clean driving licence
Portrays a professional image at all times and understands the importance of delivering a first-class customer service experience
Reliable and dependable with exceptional organizational skills
A positive attitude with drive and good work ethic
Fluent English is essential
Willingness to undertake training to develop skills and relevant knowledge
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Capable of working to company quality standards, processes and procedures
