Field Sales Executive

Are you an accomplished B2B sales person? Would you like to join a multinational organisation during its exciting start-up phase as it enters the Irish market? Our client is an international payments organisation, with a track record of growth over the past 25 years. The organisation has ambitious growth plans and has made a number of strategic acquisitions over the past year.

Responsibilities

* To achieve set monthly targets in respect of new signings and new growth signings determined by the company
* Be responsible for identifying, developing and closing sales
* Fully understand the business, buying and decision making process of the prospects as well as developing effective relationships with key contacts in the accounts.
* To interface, support and stimulate quality high value sales leads and 'core proposition' sales across a network of Partner sites across your region.
* Provide accurate detailed monthly and quarterly forecast and ensure information on AIM.
* Understand and sell the whole product portfolio
* Maintain a high awareness and knowledge of the market, including industry, competitors and internal activities
* Interface with other internal departments (e.g. customer services) as required ensuring that customer issues are resolved to their satisfaction. Provide a professional handover of accounts as necessary on a timely basis.
* Maintain professional customer liaison and ensure the ethics of business practice are followed at all times.
* Operate within published commercial and contractual guidelines, making effective use of escalation routes
* Act as an ambassador for the company and the partner brand both in the external market and within internal stakeholders, demonstrating best in class sales behavior and delivery of excellent customer experience results
* Comply with all elements of the sales charter, and with all company policies and procedures

Requirements

* Minimum of 2 years highly successful direct sales experience in a business to business marketplace in a role that is primarily focused on new business acquisition
* Proven experience and knowledge of the Leinster market and commercial landscape
* Proven ability to develop and maintain an effective network of contacts and build relationships at all levels of the organisation and externally
* Broad commercial and financial acumen and awareness of issues involved in negotiating contracts and has ability to negotiate logically and constructively.
* Green field market experience
* internal company knowledge (policies; procedures; strategies); industry background; knowledge of external market
* An influential and highly effective communicator (verbal/non verbal/written)
* A team player able to work and support colleagues across a multi-national organisation
* A willingness to accept change and the ability to maintain effectiveness in a changing environment with ability to 'see the bigger picture'
* Knowledge of payments and/or finance industry
