Our client, a market-leading global manufacturer within the construction industry is now looking to hire a Sales Manager in Ireland. This is a great opportunity for anybody that is looking to further their career in construction with a leading player.
THE ROLE: As the successful Sales Manager you will be responsible for managing a team of 7 sales representatives across the island of Ireland. Majority of the team is experienced within the industry, however, some of the newer recruits will need some mentoring and training. You will also manage some of the companies Key Accounts, selling to the Main/Subcontractors and the Civil contractors. Your point of contact will typically be site managers, project managers and site supervisors. You will report directly to the MD and be involved in forecasting revenue and setting targets.
Territory = Ireland
THE PERSON: For this role, we are looking to speak with Sales Managers within the construction industry. Management experience is essential, ideally managing a team of 5+ people. You must be driven and personable with a demonstrable track record in the construction industry. You will have strong commercial acumen and be a strong strategic thinker. You must also have experience in forecasting revenue and setting targets/budgets - this is a crucial skill for this role.
