Employing over 200 people, our team of industry professionals use their knowledge of the Irish FMCG sector to generate business on behalf of our supplier brands and our customers, supplying 300,000 cases of food products a week to over 4000 outlets across retail, wholesale and foodservice.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this position will be responsible for playing a key role in the implementation of the Commercial Operating Plan and the formation of the PRM Commercial Strategy.

 

The role: based from our head office in Lisburn, will involve key account management, leading the sales team to best promote the PRM brands and account plans through the effective management of the team throughout Ireland and working closely with customers at various levels.

 

The person: will lead and develop the team to ensure  the creation of a sales plan that delivers or exceeds budget, negotiating its execution through a JBP, while driving sales and maximising profits.  Be able to build strong relationships internally across functions representing the requirements of their channel or account in the context of the wider business strategy.  The person will also be responsible for supporting and coaching the team to resolve account issues and ensuring that market intelligence is compiled and communicated to the organisation.

 

Skills and Experience Required:

5 years experience in a customer facing role 

Be effective at building relationships internally and externally

Be able to demonstrate evidence of successfully translating brand or category plans into operational success, preferably within a multi-product food environment. 

Have the ability to build, influence and manage the sales team

Evidence of creative thinking and problem solving

Required attributes include confidence, a focus on delivering results and the flexibility to travel throughout Ireland.
