FRS Recruitment is inviting applications for the role of Sales Area Manager for a leading Agri Animal Nutrition company in Ireland. For this role you will have full responsibility for business development and profitability for our client’s animal feed product lines delivered through both existing and new customers. This is a full-time perm role covering the Munster region.
Salary: 40 – 50K plus bonus and vehicle
Region: Limerick, Cork, Clare & Tipperary

Responsibilities:
* Manage relationships with key wholesale customers and expand customer base
* Maintain excellent knowledge of Irish animal feed sector including market trends, challenges, opportunities, impact of external/international factors on the Irish sector etc.
* Ensure Group senior management are kept up to date on business performance, activities, prospects, and challenges.
* Develop an extensive network of contacts amongst customers, influencers, and regulatory authorities.
* Ensure relevant customer contacts and communications are updated on CRM system.
* Liaise with other team members (logistics, marketing, finance etc.)
Candidate Profile
* An Agri focused degree is desirable but not essential.
* 5 years commercial experience
* Must have a familiarity with and keen interest in agriculture.
* Previous experience in Budget/Target delivery and Business development
* Sales planning together with successful implementation
* Commercial acumen
* Success in launching or increasing market share of technically advanced products.
