Field Sales Development Manager
Territory : South East of Ireland

Working with a recognizable range of premium household brands across a variety of retail channels and having Central Billing Listings with all retailers throughout the Island of Ireland , we provide dedicated permanent sales teams and merchandisers to our retail partners.

Job Purpose
To lead, manage and motivate a team of sales professionals within the FMCG sector and to achieve planned sales targets for a range of the Company’s products and services.
To co-ordinate business development activity, to promote business growth for the future through expanding the customer base and helping to develop new sales plans to meet changing customer needs.
Manage the implementation of this plan. Set appropriate objectives and targets for each team member, to achieve the overall plan, monitor performance against objectives and take appropriate action to ensure the plan is achieved.
To maintain regular calls on all specified outlets in accordance with the current journey schedule.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
You will receive:
A portfolio of accounts to manage but will also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities.
An existing customer base which is highly advantageous.
Central Billing Listings with all retailers throughout the island of Ireland.
A very strong portfolio of FMCG products (non-food)
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years experience within a FMCG sales development role.
Experience selling premium brands in a highly competitive environment.
Ambitious, pro-active and energetic in developing new business.
Effective time management with ability to prioritize/multi-task.
A professional manner, articulate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Computer literacy and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office would be a distinct advantage.
Full Training and Support will be provided on an ongoing basis from Head office.
Ideal location Kilkenny region
A full valid driving license is required.
Remuneration package:
OTE + €30,000 - €50,000 depending on experience
