Sales Executive

The Sales Person will report to The Office Manager

Job Overview

The successful candidate will gain practical experience in the understanding of sales techniques and gain knowledge of potable water treatment products.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Developing New Business Customers through the self-generation of sales leads by networking, obtaining referrals and completing warm/cold calls.
• Managing Existing Customer Accounts and maintaining customer relationships
• Identify and progress re-sale opportunities for customers that have had products previously.
• Identify problematic water from water analyses and recommend appropriate water treatment products.
• Processing and Building of equipment for customer orders
• Dealing with customer enquiries both general and technical.
• Communicating technical product points clearly to ‘non-technical’ customers, using appropriate presentation and guidance materials that are provided.
• Some manual work in the warehouse involving unloading and checking in of stock.

Qualifications: 

·         Education level. Minimum required Level 4 (incl Leaving Certificate/ Leaving Certificate Applied/ Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme).

·         Experience. Sales experience would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.

·         Specific skills. Good Communication skills and technically minded, Must be Computer Literate, Strong work ethic and commitment.  Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to engage and sustain productive professional relationships, maintaining and attaining targets, competitive, confident and self-driven in nature.

·         Personal characteristics. Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team.

·         Certifications. Manual Handling Certificate an advantage but not essential as training will be supplied.

·         Licenses. Full Driving Licence an advantage but not essential
