Role description
The purpose of the Business Development role is to proactively develop new business streams in existing markets and drive sales in our new range of exciting innovative products. We are recruiting an energetic and target driven individual to cover the Leinster region.
Key responsibilities:
- Direct selling to the Commercial and B to B markets
- To seek out new business opportunities, and progress these to become regular accounts.
- Achieve sales revenue and margin targets in line with company expectations, while promoting the company's products and services in a professional manner.
- Work towards team and individual sales targets.
- Provide a high levels of customer service and customer satisfaction levels.
Qualifications/Skills
- Good communication skills, liaising with all levels across the organisation.
· Motivated to succeed and must have a growth mind-set
· Must demonstrate a working knowledge of a clearly defined sales process and pipeline management process
· Have strong influencing and negotiation skills
· Be accountable to challenging targets and goals
· Ability to excel at finding and closing opportunities in a short sales cycle
· Ability to deal with customers issues/problems in a polite and courteous manner.
· Must be self-driven and have the ability to work remotely.
· Previous history of over achievement preferable.
